The Educational Foundation remains committed to advancing the chemical enterprise and supporting excellence. Accordingly, the Educational Foundation sponsors prestigious national awards for chemistry professionals:

• The American Chemical Society Award in Pure Chemistry (since 1940, first by the Fraternity and later by the Foundation)
• The Alpha Chi Sigma Award in Chemical Engineering Research given by the American Institute of Chemical Engineering (since 1966)
